When it comes to light and sunshine, getting your daily dose is more vital to your overall health than one might assume. Stanley Fur, longtime Atlanta resident, has no trouble finding some sun during the hot summer months in Georgia, but once Winter rolls around, that daily dose of sunshine decreases.
“I discovered that the amount of light you get actually affects more than just your physical health,” states Stanley Fur. “This is why it was very important for me to consider an alternative for my family, which is where light therapy came into play.”
Therapy lights help our overall well-being by substituting natural sunlight when needed; it affects our brain chemistry and inner clock, sometimes leading to incredibly beneficial results.
“My daughters have found that using their lights in the morning has helped them in more ways than one,” says Stanley Fur. “They wake up more easily, as the light seems to provide them with more energy after 15 minutes to an hour of use.”
Stanley Fur agrees that light therapy is a new, effective method for those who are unable to receive a good amount of daily sunshine; it can lead towards incredibly positive results when it comes to mental and physical health.
